Although it may not feel like it, Spring is here! While we're all quarantined at home, it is the perfect time to brighten up the house and work on some DIY projects! If you're not ready to take on a large piece, start small with a tray, picture frame or mason jar. Here are our suggestions for the best springtime colors for 2020!
1. Pure Ocean
Pure Ocean blue is perfect for beach lovers! This color goes well on lamps for pop of color with a funky shade. You can also layer white "Fluff" to add some dimension.
Flamingo chalk paint mixes shades of pink and orange for a beautiful coral finish! This is another good choice for a sandy, beacy vibe. We've found that this color works well with white and grey. Try painting knobs or a chair with a lighter cusion!
Dixie Belle has a great line of yellow paints, but Daisy is definitely our favorite for Spring! We love this one on a mason jar filled with flowers.
4. Lucky Lavender
This shade of chalk paint is a soft purple that perfectly matches the flower. Perfect for a serene space like a bedroom or laundry room to give you a calming feel. Lizzie's choice - try this one on a decorative watering can on your porch!
5. Mint Julep
If there's any color that makes you want to sit on a porch swing and smell the fresh flowers, it's Mint Julep. This light green is a great accent color with any of Dixie Belle's brighter shades. Try this on coasters or trays for some lemonade on your porch!
